Directions
Take Hwy. 1 or Hwy. 17 (I-880), to Santa Cruz. Both will turn into Mission Street. Take Mission Street to Bay Street. Turn North on Bay up to High Street. Turn left on High Street which changes in name to Empire Grade (do not go into UCSC's Main Entrance). Proceed up Empire Grade and turn right on Heller (through UCSC's "West Entrance"). Go four stop signs and turn right on Meyer. All parking is now $2.00.

Parking
Parking can be found in the Performing Arts Parking Lot located off of Meyer Drive at the base of the Performing Arts Center.
In an effort to free up parking spaces for our off-campus partrons, the Campus Transportation and Parking Services has extended parking enforcement in the Theater Arts/Music Center parking lot. By doing so, we reduce the number of cars filling the lot before our patrons arrive. Look for the parking attendants or the two parking pass dispensers. Transportation and Parking Services at UCSC now charges $2.00 to park*.
Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the performance time indicated on your ticket to allow for parking.
*Overflow parking
Overflow parking is also located at Porter College across Heller Drive from Performing Arts. When two heavily sold performances begin simultaneously, parking in the Performing Arts Parking Lot may overflow to the Core West Parking Lot, in which case free shuttle transportation between the West Remote Parking Lot and the Performing Arts Center will be provided by SSC at no additional charge.
Buses and Large Groups
If you are coming to Shakespeare Santa Cruz with a group (i.e., in an oversized van or a bus which will not fit into a regular parking space), please call or email Carolyn Stark days in advance so that she can give you information and instructions on the handling and parking of buses.
