SUMMER SEASON VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
USHER: For this position, you will be able to attend the play for which you are ushering.
For Glen shows:
- arrive 2.0 hours before curtain. Work during intermission. Stay after the show to help clean up,
- Attire is black only (tops and bottoms). Dress in layers for the Glen.
For Mainstage shows:
- arrive 1.5 hours before curtain. Work during intermission. Stay after the show to help clean up.
- Attire is black only (tops and bottoms).
GIFT CONCESSIONS: For this position, you will receive a voucher to see a show at a later date, excepting all Saturday shows and Sunday matinees.
- Arrive two hours early. Work through intermission(s) and help close.
- If it’s a matinee, stay, as you would if you were ushering, until the audiences have left. We do sell merchandise after matinees.
PARKING INFO: Parking on the UCSC campus is $3. You will receive more information about parking after signing up, but please plan on a little extra travel time to allow for parking!
VOLUNTEER DATES:
Please fill out the Volunteer Sign-up Sheet (see the top of this page) and mail, email or fax to it to the addresses on the sheet. If you have not volunteered before, please include the Volunteer Waiver form with your show requests. Please do not call to request dates, we would like a traceable hard copy of all requests. Confirmation is by email and while we will strive to respond to you in a timely manner, if you do not receive confirmation of your schedule within a week, please call. Thank you!
Choose your dates carefully! Late cancellations create difficulties for our house staff. If an individual from your group must cancel, please show up with the rest of your group, as large groups are impossible to replace. Click here to see our 2010 production calendar.
