The Rio Theatre and Shakespeare Santa Cruz present

Strange Cadence: a distinct view of Shakespeare Santa Cruz

a film by CM Griffiths

Tuesday, June 16 @ 7:00 PM • Rio Theatre, Santa Cruz

In the summer of 2008, filmmaker CM Griffiths had unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to Shakespeare Santa Cruz’s core staff and Company as they prepared for their opening of the 27th season.

In the filmmaker’s words, Strange Cadence “began as a simple documentary but became an amazing journey witnessing the unfolding of a dramatic season that held social redemption and a common camaraderie within a company of artists.”
